Abomination!! See how Vigilantes arrest a father for allegedly impregnating own daughter in Delta

In Amukpe area of Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, some Vigilantes has arrested a middle-aged man identified as one Akpokpokpo [first name withheld] for apparently raping and impregnating his own teenage daughter.

Akpokpokpo was also accused of being the biological father of a three month old baby being carried by the abused daughter.

The suspect allegedly had carnal knowledge of his daughter named Mercy Akpokpokpo, which resulted in pregnancy and birth of a three month old baby.

It was gathered that the suspect threatened to kill his daughter if she opened up on the issue to anyone.

Information gathered has it that the girl reported the matter to the vigilante group in Amukpe on Friday, August 27, 2021 when she could no longer bear the shame in silence.

The vigilante group arrested Akpokpokpo for questioning, sources said.

During interrogation, the man reportedly confessed to have slept with his daughter only once “under the influence of alcohol”.

But the victim countered him, saying that her father raped her four times.
The suspect also admitted being the father of the child.

The acting police public relations officer for Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe could not be contacted to confirm the news as of the time of filing this report.
