AFCON 2021: Eguavoen Reavels How Super Eagles Will Approach His Match Against Tunisia

Augustine Eguavoen, the interim coach of Super Eagles, has said that as his team go into the match against Tunisia, they will approach the match the same way they did against Egypt, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.

The Super Eagles defeated Egypt 1-0, Sudan 3-1 and Guinea-Bissau 2-0 in the concluded group stages on Thursday.

The Super Eagles topped the group stage (Group D), with 9 points and will play against Tunisia in the 2021 AFCON, Round-16,  on Sunday night.

“Going into the round of 16, same approach, same system, same aggression, and we are going to train more on penalties,” Eguavoen disclosed this at the post-match press conference after Nigeria defeated Guinea-Bissau (2-0).
