Awujoola Urges Yoruba Nollywood To Ostracise Baba Ijesha For Pedophilia

The Executive Director of Girls & Youth Re-integration Network, a Non Governmental organization, Miss Kenny Awujoola has stated that parents should train their children in the right path to avoid them being exposed to sexual molestation and rape.

Speaking on Sdb Live’s Good Morning Show, Awujoola stated that there’s no excusable reason for rape however parents should ensure they put measures in place to protect their children against rape.

She stated that some of this measures include; decent dressing of the girl child; control over the media content the child is exposed to and a good parent-child rapport.

Kenny bemoaned the lack of proper justice against rape perpetrators because of lack of evidence and advised rape victims to go to a hospital immediately after a rape incident to get evidence if they have the courage to do so.

While reacting to the the allegations of Pedophilia against a popular yoruba actor, Olarenwaju James Omiyinka, also known as Baba Ijesha, Kenny Awujoola urged Nollywood celebrities to blacklist him, and avoid giving him any movie role for a particular period.

She emphasized that Baba Ijesha should not to be allowed close to minors and that a letter should be written to the US embassy over the alleged molestation.

Miss Awujoola also stated that Baba Ijesha cannot serve as a role model and does not deserve to be watched on television by children.
