BREAKING: Lagos Policemen block Ojuelegba road, point guns at motorists

Nigeria Police officers have caused heavy traffic at Ojuelegba in Lagos State.

MIEC NEWS gathered that more than six policemen blocked the road with their vehicle, pointing guns at commuters.

The policemen who caused anxiety among commuters stationed close to the barracks, stooping traffic flow inward Yaba.

An eyewitness said the reason for their action is not yet determined. No emergency situation was publicly reported earlier.

He said,“We don’t know why they are standing like that but I didn’t see anything bad happening while coming from Yaba”, said a witness on the other side of the road.

“Some are scared because they pointed guns at people. They crossed the road with their vehicle and are not saying anything.”

The Orientation Camp of the National Youth Corps in Kubwa, Abuja, has been under attack by some hoodlums on Tuesday morning. The thugs armed with knives and other sharp objects blocked the road and ordered motorists to turn back. They were seen coming out of the premises with mattresses, plastic chairs and other items. Residents in the neighbourhood also took advantage of the unrest to participate in the looting.
