Buhari yet to react to NDA attack, killing of military officers

President Muhammadu Buhari is yet to respond to the attack of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna State by bandit terrorists.

Information gathered has it that bandit terrorists attacked the military facility in Afaka in Kaduna State, killing two officers and kidnaping one officer, who has now been found dead.

It was gathered that the bandits, who were in a vehicle, disguised in military uniform to gain access into the security gates of the NDA.

The spokesperson of the NDA, Major Bashir Muhammad Jajira, said while confirming the incident in a statement, that the cadets in the academy are safe while a manhunt has been launched to track the criminals.

Also, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has condemned the blatant attack on the military facility by the terrorists on Tuesday morning.

Major General Benjamin Sawyer, the Director of Defence Information, DHQ said security has been beefed up within and in the surrounding of the academy.

He also conveyed the commiseration message of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) to the families and friends of the officers who lost their lives during the attack.

However, as of the time of filing this report, President Buhari who is the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces has failed to speak on the attack and yet to visit the military facility in Kaduna.

Also, nobody among the presidential spokesmen is yet to issue a statement on the NDA attack.
