Christ’s Mandate Ministry Under the leadership of Pastor Olupona has continued her 4-day Family Retreat today.
The second day started with prayers and hymns.
The choir in their ministration encouraged the congregation not to harden their heart to the word of God because blessing comes from submission and total obedience.
In the first teaching of the second day, Pastor Olupona teaching from Genesis 1 explained that the greatest challenge of humanity is darkness and that Jesus is the greatest source of light that kindles the light of every man that comes to him.
He revealed that devil attacks christian marriages because they are a threat to him and unbelievers seem to “enjoy” marriage because the devil is not bothered about them since they are already living in bondage.
He further taught that submission on the part of the wife includes deferring to her husband in major information that concerns the family.
Taking a cue from the story of Adam and Eve Pastor Olupona said the covenant of marriage does not allow for replacement.
In conclusion, he stated that marriage is an assignment satan is not happy with however if couples do this assignment well, the kingdom of devil would be thrown trouble.
