INSECURITY: South-West PDP Calls For Buhari’s Resignation

The South-West chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has requested President Muhammadu Buhari to resign from his position as Nigerian President.

The Peoples Democratic Party made this known in a statement on Monday, that under the leadership of the All Progressive Congress, Nigeria is fast turning to a miserable country through the activities of terrorism and banditry.

Information gathered has it that PDP cried out that the rate at which innocent citizens are being killed by the Boko Haram sects and bandit terrorists across the states is becoming alarming.

 

PDP said that the dreaded group even have the effrontery to start attacking military and security agencies, leaving the ordinary citizens helpless and hopeless.

The Publicity Secretary of the PDP in the region, Sanya Atofarati, who made the statement available to newsmen, advised the Federal Government to seek foreign help on insecurity in the interest of peace and socio-economic development of the country.

 

Report has it that Atofarati made the call in a statement titled, ‘Killing spree: Why Buhari must resign now.

He made the statement in Ado Ekiti while reacting to recent attacks by bandits and gunmen on military formations, police stations and personnel.
