Wisdom is The Principal Thing (2)
Power Wisdom Habits

Our attitude towards anything in life determines the altitude that we can ever reach in that particular area. Like we highlighted last week in the part 1 of this article, divine wisdom is not automatic but has to be consciously acquired. This fact was confirmed in the book of James 1:5 (KJV) “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
In this episode we will be dealing with the right attitudes that one need to cultivate in order to be able connect and to download divine wisdom into our hearts
Phm 1:14 KJV But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
These are habits that guarantee the flow and the retention of wisdom of God.
They Include:
1- Passionate Desire/ Curiosity: Isaiah 44:3 (KJV)
The water of Divine Wisdom is only permitted to be poured upon him that is desperately thirsty, and the floods of it, upon the dry ground. As a candidate for the wisdom of God you must create the space for the flow of it towards you by your desperate desire and thirst for it.

2- The undeniable, and unconditional Love for God: (1Co 2:6-10 KJV)
The Wisdom of God is not an achievement, but an endowment and it is only reserved for the lovers of God. Even in the natural world, nobody finds it difficult to reveal his or her secrets to the one who genuinely loves him.
(1Cor 2:9 KJV) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (10) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

3) Meekness:
Psa 25:9 KJV The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
Mat 5:5 KJV Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
● Meekness guarantees the flow of wisdom but pride repels wisdom.
● This is the meekness of the heart, spirit and body.
● Meekness is the ability to be able to learn at convenient and inconvenient times.
● It was meekness that made Solomon ask for wisdom to rule having acknowledged the fact that he needed help to discharge his duties.
● If you are too conscious of your position, it will blindfold you not to see new things. But if you are humble God will multiply you.
● Divine wisdom is the heritage of the meek; Moses the prophet, the pillar of wisdom in the Old Testament was a meek person.
● Jesus also the epitome of wisdom in the scriptures was a meek person.
● Wisdom is being teachable i.e., having a listening heart e.g., Moses listened to Jethro. Wisdom makes you give attention to other people’s views. It is also being absolutely dependent on divine sources as if you don’t have ability of your own.
● A meek person is an empty person that is required to be filled.
● Those who dominate when talking with others are not meek. Meekness is the channel for the flow of divine wisdom.
● God does not have the problem to put a meek person in His class.
● Note that meekness is not a gift but a choice, the meeker you are the wiser you are.

4) Uprightness: Righteousness, Integrity and Honesty
Psa 25:12 KJV What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. Psa 25:14 KJV The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
● Uprightness is synonymous with righteousness, purity and integrity. To be upright is to be straight, whole, fair and responsible.
● Just like meekness uprightness is a choice and not a gift.
● Job the greatest man in the east was an upright person.
● Daniel and 3 Hebrew boys were distinguished by uprightness.
● Dan 1:8, Dan 3:16 – 18, Joseph was preserved and uplifted by integrity. Gen 39: 10 – 13
All those who excelled by divine wisdom as mentioned above attracted God’s wisdom through uprightness of the heart.

5) Joyfulness:
Isa 12:3 KJV Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
● Divine wisdom responds to a joyful heart, joy is a ventilator of man’s mental system.
● It is one of the attitudes of the wise men e.g., David, Paul, Jesus Christ.
● The level of your emotional or mental warmness (joy) determines your flow in supernatural wisdom, it is wisdom to be joyful!

6) Tenacity:
Luke 9:23 KJV And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Pro 22:29 KJV Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
● It involves continuous discipleship, the closer you follow the more wisdom you get. Tenacity is holding fast, sticking to a thing with unshakeable commitment towards a particular goal /pursuit.
● It is an unwavering deadly commitment towards a particular course.
● Note: No amount of prayer can substitute commitment neither can fasting do, until you are deadly committed to your mission you have no guarantee of accomplishment.
● Joseph was a committed person both in the prison and in the palace therefore he became a prime minister, wisdom enthrones.
● How committed you are today will determine your lifting tomorrow.
● Nehemiah was able to build the walls of Jerusalem through tenacity. Neh 4:6, 11 – 23.

7) Versatility:
Pro 18:1-2 KJV Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom. (2) A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.
● This means to be versed in your mind having many sided abilities. It means to possess many different kinds of skills and abilities.
● Our minds were designed to be versatile i.e., capable of many uses like a computer.
● The mind must always be loaded and refreshed with relevant and adequate information in order to flow in wisdom.

8) Strategic Planning:
Pr 24: 3 – 4, Luke 14: 28 – 30.
To flow in supernatural wisdom, you must have planning ability. Plan your work and projects.
Wisdom will always locate a planner because at the process of planning wisdom flows.
Planning is God’s wisdom for increased productivity, it is a smart way to obtain results and a fundamental way to be versatile.
Failing to plan is planning to fail; strategic planning involves planning over a period of time for maximum productivity. It is seeing and thinking into the far future in phases. It is not wise to put all your eggs in one basket. Planning makes life easy and cheap.
The level of your thinking and the information gathered is a function of the quality of the plans involved.
The plans determine the type of information you will gather, that is why as a pastor I normally tag every month prophetically so that I could be focused and impart lives.
The information gathered is to be processed through qualitative thinking and reasoning with the help of the Holy Spirit.

God Bless you, share your testimonies with us.
Jesus is Lord!
