Charles Chukwuma Soludo was born on 28 of July, 1960.  He is a Nigerian economics professor and a former governor and chairman of the board of directors of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Chukwuma was named governor on 29 May 2004. He is also a member of the British Department for International Development’s International Advisory Group.

Prof. Charles Soludo has been declared the winner of the 2021 Anambra governorship election and below is how the state electorates voted.

Information gathered has it that Soludo’s victory was announced by the Returning Officer of the Anambra governorship election, Florence Obi.

Below are the total votes cast during the Anambra election that turned Soludo to the new Governor.

Registered voters: 2,466,638

Accredited Voters: 253,388

Valid Votes: 241,523

Rejected Votes: 8,108

Total Votes cast: 249,631
