SUPER LEAGUE: Alex Ferguson, Boris Johnson Kick Against League

Former Manchester United manager, Alex Ferguson, has said the idea of a breakaway European Super League, would be a departure from 70 years of football history.

According to the Scot, fans love the Champions League as it is.

UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has also reacted angrily to the new European Super League.

He also vowed that the UK government will support any action taken to prevent what he described as the “damaging” proposals.
