private educational institution, Chrisland School, has replied to an issue currently trending between Mercy Johnson Okojie and a yet-to-be  -identified female teacher in Chrisland over the allegation that the teacher used to bully Purity, Mercy’s first daughter.

Akin Fadeyi, a member of the school management has released a statement from the school management that promised said  the allegation would be investigated and appropriate feedback would be given to the public and other stakeholders.

The statement read in part, “We are working on every available information at our disposal and are investigating what actually took place to enable us to establish the veracity of each claim and the true state of things. This, we have swiftly embarked upon by deploying our well-tested processes to engage with each and everyone concerned, both within our internal and connected relationships.

“In the meantime, safeguarding the rights, dignity, creative capacity and sense of esteem of every child under our care, remains irrevocably entrenched at the core of our corporate ethos, even as we always keep our doors open to embrace constructive feedback from concerned public and especially our stakeholders.”

This is in response to a public outcry Mercy Johnson made on Friday, October 22, about a female teacher who had been apparently bullying her eight-year-old daughter in school. The mother of four, in a series of posts on her Instagram page, had bitterly described how Purity had complained and “suffered” in the hands of the teacher who had said, “She doesn’t like Mercy Johnson and celebrity kids are badly behaved.”

Although the actress didn’t mention any name of the teacher and the school on her Instagram page, she revealed she had politely confronted the teacher and also reported to the school authorities. As of the time of filing this report, the post had garnered over 19,600 comments and 152 likes.

Many of her colleagues had also called for justice for the mother of four and assured her of their unwavering support. However, some Instagram users also faulted her claims. Accusing of her looking for cheap publicity for her 8-year  old girl.
